Slow Stitching Technique of the Month: December

CLASS SCHEDULE!!

September: We will be going over basic stitches, project ideation, and understanding mark making.

October: We will be exploring different ways to use the blanket stitch.

November: This month we will learn Couching and see how we can expand on it.

December: We will explore hand sewing tucks & pleats to create texture.

This class is great for those who have always wanted to explore different hand sewing / slow stitching techniques! Each month we will go over a different technique. THIS CLASS IS ALL ABOUT EXPLORATION!!

You can use this class to make small samples OR you can use this class as a way to work towards a bigger project like a stitch book, improv blocks, or small canvas wall art.

In each class you will need to bring 1 base fabric of a 12" x 12" piece of fabric, as well as a wide assortment of scarps. This is a great way to use left over scraps from past projects. You will also need a variety of threads & needle sizes (but will go over that in class!)

Each class can be signed up for individually. If you can’t make every month, thats okay - it’s easy to jump in at any time!

No machine's are required for this class.
